FRUIT
Lleida is a land of meat. Farm chicken, rabbit, duck, turkey and pork in particular, supplying a large part of our country. L'intèrpret provides the ability to validate credits al'ESO and Bachillerato .
AUDITORI ENRIC GRANADOS
Municipal Institute of Music is the instrument lleida manager and channeling of the musical culture of the city of Lleida. Located in the same building of the auditorium, studying, organizing, and running each program activity resulting from the needs and concerns of the music Lleida: try music, great classics and the most innovative sounds. The Municipal Auditorium, the cultural music of the most important city, coordinates its activities with the Professional Municipal Conservatory of Music, located in the same auditorium, which operates independently. The building that combines the facilities of Municipal Conservatory of Music Concert Hall, consists of ground floor, 3 and 4 floors underground, distributed as follows.
The Municipal Theater of the abattoir is located in a modernist building, a former municipal slaughterhouse, restored by the City Council of Lleida and for the Performing Arts from October 98. The building houses the facilities of the school cradle "The Clock", the Association of Residents of the neighborhood-Templers Slaughterhouse, the City Hall Theater, the Theater Cafe and the Municipal Theater of the abattoir that with 2 rooms for the display of stage productions. There are in the lobby mural "Retablo of the Slaughterhouse," the work of the artist Frederic Amat.

The construction of La Seu Vella began in 1203, under the dire
ction of Master Pere de Coma, on the site where, according to documents from the period, the Aljama or old great mosque, had stood. The church, dedicated to Santa Maria, was consecrated for worship in 1278. The work went on uninterrupted and the cloister was finished in the 14th century. Considered one of the finest monumental cloisters in Europe, it is special because of its gallery that opens over the city. Also during the 14th century, work began to build the bell tower, continuing until 1431.

SAINT GEORGE'S STORIES...
STORY 1
Once upon a time, the people of Lleida were devastated by a fierce and terrible monster, he could walk, fly and swim. Worried about the situation, the inhabitants of Lleida thought giving the dragon food every day. The problem was to find the person to sacrifice themselves every day to be eaten by the dragon. One day, the inhabitants of Lleida do a raffle. It was the turn of the Princess. The young Princess was very nice, friendly, beautiful, elegant. She had the heart of all of the boys, and that is why hundreds of opportunities to replace her.
The young girl left the castle to meet with the beast, and all the people afflicted and worried
saw how the princess was going to slaughter. But while the girl was going to fall of the monster, a young knight with a shining armor, mounted on a white horse appeared. The girl
looked at him and advised him.
- Run! Run fast here! Noble knight, if you stay here, the beast will appear and kill you.
The young boy, looked at the Princess:
- Don’t worry young princess. I’m here because I have come expressly. I came from very far to protect yourself and rid your town of this beast!
Suddenly, the beast went out of its house. The princess was worried and the knight happy. The battle began, the knight stuck with his spear and left the beast wounded.The blood flowed quickly from the beast in a rose and the boy gave the rose to the Princess.
STORY 2
Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess and she lived in a castle near the mountains. There was a legend which says: there is a dragon near here and he eats a lot of people, but anyone believe in it.
One day the dragon appeared and he took a lot of sheep, and the rest of the animals.
The next day he started to eat people. And what will the people of the city do so that they are not eaten ? They searched for an answer for that question but they didn’t want to go away from the city, because there were all their families there.
The dragon wanted the meat of the princess, but the secretary of the kings says: “ first, you eat me before you eat the princess.
And only a moment after said that it appeared a knight ridden on a white horse, and he after said what happened with the princess and the dragon; he killed it… and in the blood of the dragon appeared a lot of roses, and the knight took them and he offered them to the princess …
